Baby Slings
Ever lugged an infant car seat in and out of the car just
to run errands? With the seat banging against your legs, not to mention what
it’s doing to your back?
Ever hurried through a grocery store struggling to hold a
fussy baby who refuses to sit in the cart? Or spent all day at home holding a
sick and clingy toddler?
A sling is so easy to pack in a diaper bag, so it’s handy
when your baby just needs to be held. When I run errands, or pick up my older
child from school, I put the sling on before I go to the car, and keep it on, so
I can just slip the baby in and out at each stop.
Not only is a sling the easiest, most versatile way to
carry your baby, there are developmental benefits, as well. Newborns who are
“worn” gain weight faster and cry less. And wearing your toddler in a
sling regularly can reassure a child dealing with separation anxiety.
Our pouch-style slings from
Hotslings
are the simplest to use, with no rings or straps to adjust. You buy the right
size for you, and you can use it from infancy through toddlerhood.
